This course is addressed to educators and school personnel who are beginner learners of Spanish. Participants will be introduced to simple Spanish grammar and knowledge of the Hispanic culture. They will learn how to communicate with English learners whose native language is Spanish and their parents. Emphasis on basic communication skills associated with real-life situations, the classroom environment, student praise and encouragement, school personnel, and school terminology.
